Biscuit's Puppyhood

Biscuit was gotten from a breeder.

A breeder is a person that breeds dogs together to make them have puppies and to give the puppies to people looking to get a pet. Breeders will take care of the puppies for a certain amount of time before giving them to other people.

Biscuit was only 8 weeks old after he was gotten from the breeder, making him a very young puppy.

Inconviences

Being a puppy, there were many issues and inconveniences with taking care of him. First of all, he was extremely mouthy, even compared to other Golden Retreivers.

For a while, he also struggled with the "bathroom policy" of urinating outside, as he would leave a mess at least three to four times a day in the house during the first month, but he learned quickly that he must go outside to go to the "bathroom". Being a puppy, he needed to go outisde to urinate several times a night, which was not fun for my mother to take him outside between 12:00AM and 05:00AM.

Luckily, he now play-bites a lot less, and his "bathroom breaks" aren't a big burden anymore.

Positives of Having Him

Despite the challanges, his puppyhood stage was not all that bad overall; he was a very kind dog even then, and playing with him as a puppy was very fun.

In addition, he was very cute and handsome as a puppy, and he still frequently get comments and how nice he looks.

Biscuit Today

At three and a half years old, Biscuit is now a much better dog compared to when he was a puppy. He still can be mouthy, although much less often. He also is much more relaxed, as he does not need all the attention he needed as a puppy, which also places less stress for us. Biscuit has a long life ahead of him, and I always enjoy spending time with him.
